Pastors David & Joan
Senior Pastors
Pastor David has a passion for the Word of God, prayer and being led by the Spirit as he ministers to the congregation each week. He and Joan have served at Sahuarita First since 1981 when they founded the church in Sahuarita. David and Joan have two children a wonderful son and daughter and their wonderful spouses. They also have 7 precious grandchildren. Joan is an ordained minister and is active in Women's Ministries. She is on staff as the Business Administrator.
Bob & Judith Elfers
Young Adult Pastors
Pastor Bob & Judith spent most of their lives ministering for Chi Alpha Ministries. They are our Young Adult Pastors. They have built their entire lives around mentoring young people in their Christian walk. Their goal is to help everyone develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Mikaela Lopez
Worship Pastor
Pastor John & Ashley Stowell are our Worship Pastors. The Bible says a lot about worship and John & Ashley love to worship and to lead our congregation into worship.
They are also our Young Adult Pastors.
John has spent most of his life at
Sahuarita First and is totally invested in the church.
He and his wife, Ashley have 4 children.
